Director Lucas Kazan once again shows that he is the king of dreamy erotica -- "Journey to Greece" is a beautifully shot and ultra-romantic epic. The sun-washed houses and azure-blue waters of Greece provide the perfect backdrop for the muscular, near-perfect studs, and Kazan uses them to great effect when framing his shots, whether they are of a single model standing in an archway, his dick reaching for the skies, or a shot of three nude studs playfully goofing around on a beach. The story line is slight, but it is enough.
In the opening scene, dark and handsome Sergei Jordanov and his partner, the bronze-skinned beauty Lucas Andrade are kissing softly, bathed in blue light, each wearing only underwear. As the kissing progresses, it is so sensual, so seemingly heartfelt, that it is almost too much to bear. Lucas Kazan's filming style has a sensuous, Mediterranean feel. His latest movie Journey to Greece contains beautiful sets, and picturesque location-shooting in the Greek islands. More then just pretty sets, the movie is studded with an assortment of incredible looking models. Unlike other euro-muscleguy movies from central Europe, the look and feel here is more natural. The guys radiate with a soothing, califacient heat, which is a common southern european look.
This movie at its heart is a sad story, telling of how lovers Sergei Jordonov and Lucas Andrades take their first vacation, only return home separately.

Andrades and Jordonov spend the first night of their vacation together making love. The movie's first action scene shows them having gentle, romantic sex in their bed. The walls and sheets are bathed in a deep aqua blue color. Jordonov has probably aged the most gracefully then any other Bjorn model. His body is finely muscled and his ass is absolutely perfect.

Luca Andrade and Sergei Jordanov, a newly minted couple, have come to an unspecified Greek island for their first romantic holiday. Distractions abound, however, and their relationship comes unglued. Journey to Greece begins with Andrade walking alone, clutching a suitcase, then flashes back to the previous week, before Jordanov's infidelity convinced Andrade it was time to leave. Making love in their darkened hotel bedroom, the pair seem to define compatibility. Veterans of projects by master director Kristen Bjorn (who served here as executive producer), both models turn in skilled, heated sexual performances, even though their scene is cooled by bluish lighting and decor-- representing, perhaps, the chill of monogamy.
On the same island, by contrast, a second gay couple wanders hand in hand through sunstruck streets collaboratively ogling other men. When we first encounter Federico Bulsara and Sebastian Dunn, they share a cruisy moment with three guys heading for the beach. The sumptuous beach triumvirate (Max Veneziano, Antonio Armani, and preternaturally gorgeous Pietro Rosselli) frolics naked along the shore, then moves indoors for Olympian sex.
Meanwhile, Bulsara and Dunn pick up muscular Ivan Cseska. Their scene, which begins with some devastatingly carnal exhibitionism, is the most beautifully crafted three-way in recent memory. This episode is a difficult act to follow, but Jordanov's encounter with Mario Perez-- to whom he makes the mistake of saying, "I love you" within earshot of Andrade-- is blazingly erotic.
Lucas Kazan videos bearing the stamp of Kristen Bjorn's Sarava Productions tend to be of higher quality than those Kazan releases independently or under other auspices. All nine models here are knockouts. Better yet, they're alive. Except for some arty atmospheric lighting, especially the strawberry-sorbet effects in the second sex scene, the technical elements are impeccable. One wonders how closely Bjorn was involved. The sex in Journey to Greece includes some of his characteristic poses; the generous number of cumshots includes several of his trademark no-hands orgasms. If, in particular, Kazan directed the Bulsara-Dunn-Cseska episode without assistance, he should consider it a compliment to be told it could pass for the work of Kristen Bjorn.
